Saksakan ng Hugot

We organized a teaser event for Love, Lies, and Misconceptions featuring artists from Batangas.
“Saksakan” in english is power outlet and “hugot” means to pull out. Hugot is popularized in the Philippines as drawing emotions out of something deep, like pulling out feelings from certain things one can relate to. I made a pun out of the event title and combined “saksakan” and “hugot” in the illustration with the title and event details in contrast with the violet and green monochromatic color palette of the illustration.
