Mensa 'Influential Intelligence' campaign

This was a university project which initially began as an exploration of genius. The project evolved and finaly took shape in the form of an advertising campaign for Mensa. The goal was to shake off the organisations 'stuffy' persona and make it appeal to a new audience of younger people. The series of posters would be given to current members and it would also be rolled out across the British Transport Network on billboards.

The idea is to catch peoples attention and intrigue. Each poster is dedicated to a person with high intelligence that has had a lasting impact of human history. It is up to the viewer to realise that persons identity using the graphic elements given. Each poster has a single piece of information about the posters subject that is not widely know about that person, it can may act as a red herring and also a taliking point.
