Concept:
While trying to come up with the concept of the poster, I was passing through a terrible creative block and many bad ideas came to my mind.
After several trials and many sketches (that I denied one after one), the final idea finally appeared.

This idea came after a different direction I took. I started to use the name of the band and one of their songs ("Lock and Key") as my focal point. To combine these two things, I got the influences of old western movie posters and the gunfighters (as if their cruel hands were a "lock and key", locking forever someone's life).
After some research, "A Fistful of Dollars" posters came to me. I combined the aesthetic of these posters (one man standing alone, simple composition and the typography) to the very colorful and strong visual of a great western movie called "Tears Of The Black Tiger".
The most important goal for me was to reach a strong visual, with an old look, going in the opposite direction of the hardcore gig posters we usually see.
