ABOUT
Vision is the Wesminster School's Art Department Magazine, which celebrates the students work at the end of every Academic year.

As Creative Director at
2Creatives, I was tasked with designing the identity, grid and editorial visual language for all future issues, as well as designing the first issue myself.

The grid is based on the idea of the two tittles from the logo (the dots of the 'i') acting as 'eyes,' or the device through which you see the student work, and therefore throughout the magazine most of the student work is featured within a square grid, with only the captions sitting outside.

However, to break the monotony, the magazine is interspersed with full bleed images and divider pages between each section that are purely typographic, creating a nice pace throughout. Ultimately, as this is about the student's work, all design flourishes were kept to a minimum in order to really celebrate the endeavours of these young artists.
