CartHook x Square CBD Launch

In October 2019, CartHook partnered with Square Payments to launch the first CBD-friendly payment processor and checkout experience on Shopify. We ran a massive launch campaign targeted at CBD business owners who have had issues keeping their stores open, processing orders, and capturing payments.
This is the campaign's landing page for our paid ad campaigns. It gives a high-level overview of CartHook and the partnership with Square. The main CTA of the campaign was to apply to be a CartHook merchant.
Here are two different ad placements we ran at the top of the funnel to build traffic to the landing page and build brand awareness for CartHook. Since CBD merchants cannot use paid ads, they spend a lot of time using organic social media to market their products, so we focus solely on Facebook and Instagram for these campaigns.
The final results of the campaign, which ran for nearly two months, can be seen below. The first two ads were our top of funnel campaigns, that were focus solely on driving traffic. We generated over 1,600 clicks to our landing page, which ultimately lead to 45 applications. 

The final three ads seen in this dashboard are our middle of funnel retargeting ads that were served only to visitors on the landing page. This traffic was sent from paid acquisition channels, email marketing, and blog campaigns, so retargeting was key.
