Dettol Banega Swachch India

These films were created as a part of the NDTV- Reckitt Benckiser 'Banega Swachh India' campaign to address the rising need of hygiene and sanitation in India, work to support the construction and maintenance of toilets and making India open defecation free. 

The first video (year 1 of the campaign) is a call to action by campaign's brand ambassador and Bollywood superstar, Mr Amitabh Bachchan. In the video, he highlights the importance of 20 seconds and appeals to the citizens of India to do their bit for adopting and propagating safer sanitation practices. 

The second video (year 2) aims to make people understand the importance of using a toilet, and how using one shuts the door on diseases and health problems that are caused due to open defecation. And most importantly, how by just using toilets we can have safer and healthier families, communities and individuals. This film had a great nation-wide impact and was even tweeted by the Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi.
