Individual project for Studio VIII (DPSDE) by Edward Nasrawi [Year 2011].
The versatile cart is a super market cart which is a mass product that optimizes the overall shopping experience. It has been designed according to DFA principles (Design For All) and it incorporates a lot of innovative solutions. The final design has a familiar form for users but through the recommended solutions it’s beneficial for a wide range of people.
It can be customized according to users needs
Child seat
Special host area for belongings [bag, wallet, etc.] that hides them from public view
Handles around the cart for easy moving in any direction
Paper receptor for shopping list that allows users to have their hands free
Adjustable magnifying lens that helps reading details on products
Supporting step for reaching objects at higher shelves
It offers the opportunity to categorize your products
