Illustration for the Uncut Gems issue of Little White Lies. My assignment was to create a piece of jewelry representing one of the films that influenced Uncut Gems. I illustrated Karel Reisz's "The Gambler" staring James Caan. It's a jewel encrusted sling for when your bookie breaks your arm.
Sketches of unused concepts, the left is a bejeweled afro to match James Caan's hair in the film. On your right is a jewel encrusted watch reminding you to "Pay Bookie Now" on a broken arm/cast.
