A two year project to renew all maps throughout the North Sunshine Coast region, including connected BC Ferry terminals. All maps were rendered by hand and to scale using a combination of gps datasets and historical cartographic maps from various government sources. The stakeholders wanted a focus on an elegant user experience. The result: A clean, legible, visually appealing map system of a large bioregion with many tourist attractions. The project also included a variety of trailhead maps within Powell River's Milennium Park.
