"A Luta do Século” (The Fight of the Century) portraits of one of the biggest boxing rivalries in Brazil. It follows the stories of Luciano Todo Duro and Reginaldo Holyfield as they struggle to survive as some kind of “forgotten heroes” while facing a society that does not care much about their elders. Poor and uneducated, Luciano and Reginaldo do not find  much hope and are caught in a repetitive cycle that continuously tries to bring back their past glories. But this perpetuation of their boxing rivalry, and their promises of money and fame, comes at a higher cost as their aging bodies begin to fail.

The opening titles and credits design makes use of extensive archival material collected from newspapers, with an aesthetic that explores their aging look through a rough, patterned texture. The movie was exhibited in many international festivals and theaters all over Brazil.
