I refuse to believe the "if-you are-not-productive-you-don't-exist" theory. Who are those who are productive? What is productivity? Where is the line between being productive and being inefficient? Who or what decided where that line is? Every human being has his dignity that is fulfilled through work, through putting himself and his heart in what he does, so that that living energy could pass into the hands of another man and so forth. Through our work we create life, but we were born to live through work, not to work to live. We exist before someone labels us productive or decides that we can be useful to him.
