This is a five and a half month long project between October 2018 and March 2019 where I worked on M4ID's ongoing multi year project - Core. Core combines human-centred design (HCD) and a life course approach to look at women’s sexual and reproductive health over one or more transition points to understand the connections between their past experiences and future outcomes.
The Core research is taking place in four locations in Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria and India. My work, and also the topic of my MA thesis, was centred around researching, designing and creating an array of Engagement Objects, that translated this ongoing research into an immersive experience. These experimental objects ranged from fields like Discursive design, New media, Critical design, Provocative and Applied art.
The work presented here has been done in collaboration with and through the supervision of Sandra Viña, Senior Service Designer at M4ID.
