YCN was born in 2001, at the time purely to launch a new annual award programme for emerging creative talent. The YCN Student Awards still run, and represent an on-going demonstration of their commitment to rising talent. The programme saw the launch the first iteration of the YCN website. Through their daily activities, and longstanding creative engagement programmes such as the YCN Student Awards, they've been lucky to work with some of the most innovative companies in the world.
For the project I had to choose two briefs and pick between them which I would continue with. My personal choice was the UK Greetings brief, in which I was tasked with producing my own range of products, the main goal was to have them all work together and seem as part of a set, which I named "ONYX SNOW", after two of the colours in my chosen pallet.
