Habiter autour du jardin, vivre ensemble
Ce projet d'habitation collective dans le quartier Gambetta à Montpellier s'articule autour d'un jardin et de ses bienfaits. Il prend en compte les contraintes du PLU et de bon voisinage. Un travail sur les seuils, les mises à distance et le vivre ensemble a été mené. Puis un travail sur la spatialité intérieure et la matérialité. Une grande serre en toiture du bâtiment Nord permet aux habitants des étages de cultiver eux aussi leur jardin. Diplôme de Licence.
Living around a garden, living together
This collective housing project in the Gambetta district of Montpellier is built around the garden and the benefits of access to greenspace. It takes into account the constraints of the relevant planning regulations and the positives of living in a community. Particular attention was given to thresholds designs, distances allowing living together in common areas and work on inner spatiality and materiality. A large roof greenhouse in the North building allows the inhabitants of the floors to cultivate their own garden too. This was the final project of my bachelor degree.
