Lithograph 16: No André in Eden
The Correction Stage: Since everything printed totally opposite of what I was expecting, I decided to make the best of it and get at it with a litho corrector and some etching and dental tools to scratch out the details.
Material Misunderstanding: The Craies Lithographiques Lithographic lead that I had used for some finer details completely washed out, and left a blank spaces (maybe it was just a marking pencil and not a litho drawing pencil - I am thinking, I maybe misunderstood the material).
The Second Etch saves the day: This was somewhat successful and all was not lost. I am sad that all the tiny delicate details by the litho leads did not show up, but I am happy the ape face turned out fine and the scratch corrected clouds came out good.

This is super silly and fun series I am working on. It’s about ‘No André in Eden’ series. It is about all these faces and (un)intentional puns seen by chance in nature (random photographs, videos etc.). So, I put in an André and and Andrea in a soup of evolution... and nothing is as it seems. It’s a mix of every single thing I have thought about humans in life.
Have we evolved from other species? Do we have aquatic origins? Are we ape hybrids, or do we have extra terrestrial origins? Are we a part of the great osmosis (yes, that too hahaha), is this holographic reality? Are trees our ancestors? Are the grey floating blobs and orbs we see, us visiting ourselves from the future? ...and if it’s just all in my head and all of you are just a figment of my imagination - then this is all just a big trip till my time is up.
