Lithograph 13: Radiation Black

Lithograph 13: Radiation Black
I was not particularly pleased with this stone. It’s about radiation (that round moon is the linear accelerator with its collimators).

It turned out okay, though. I was not sure if uniPin markers will show up or not in prints (by the time I was on the second etch I kind of knew it won't).
However, other textures and marks (not UniPin) came out beautifully.
Radiation Black
10 editions in Hahnemühle
The cancer series

This was an experimental stone, and some of the line work, such as the collimators on the beam accelerator did not come as I wanted.

Although, I did enjoy the radiation therapy thoroughly , and making the stone about it as well.

The damage and collateral symptoms showed up a week after the 15th session ended.

And by the time I printed this stone, I was already recovering from the damage. My chest to throat had turned radiation black, and the burnt skin had peeled off.
Thank you for reading about my cancer journey <3
May we all have good health and strength
