This is branding for a start-up company - essentially offering a variety of quantity surveying services to the construction industry.

 

The symbol is made from the '=' sign for 'Equals' and a 90 degree letter 'i'. Put together they make the 'E' from 'Equals'.  Almost embarrassingly simple, but feels like an effective approach.
