I used a two light set up for these portraits: Main light, Nikon SB800 shot 1/1 through a 28"x28" Westcott Apollo Softbox. Hair/rim light, Nikon SB800 with standard dome diffuser. Main light was camera right at approx. 45 degrees and 3 feet away from the subject. The other light was opposite of the main, pointed directly at the subject. Lights were triggered using a Pocket Wizard set up. FlexTT1 with a zone controller on-camera and a FlexTT5 on each SB. Dragged the shutter to drop the ambient and allow the subject to stand out away from the back ground. Shot with a Nikon D800 and an 85mm 1.4
