Woodfordia Apothecary

Woodfordia Apothecary branding and label design
Woodfordia Apothecary is a line of carefully created natural skincare products that are gentle on skin, sea and saplings. These were first introduced and sold at the 2019/20 Woodford Folk Festival. Woodford Apothecary products contain natural oils and butters from nuts and fruits, and will hopefully be available soon online at the Woodford Folk Festival's shop Emporium of Keepsakes. 

For this project I created the logo as well as the labels for the products. It was inspired by elements of the Festival, primarily the compass which is incorporated in their website graphics. They also wanted a look that was grounded on the vibe that the festival invokes, which was "feel good", natural and gentle. While experimenting with labels which used color, we ultimately decided on using B/W to convey a more transparent, organic, natural feel, which embodied the vision of the products. 

In addition to this, advertising materials such as the accompanying flyer, signages, as well as social media posts and assets were also handled. The beautiful pictures (taken on site) show its showcase at the Emporium where the festival was held.
