"Swastika Night" cover design
"Swastika Night is post-Hitlerian dystopian classic novel where women, as we know them, have been eliminated. Published in 1937, twelve years before Orwell's 1984, Swastika Night projects a totally male-controlled fascist world that has eliminated women as we know them."
The cover design was inspired by Hitler's gruesome vision of a "People's home" (Volkshalle), a building that would dominate Berlin's urban fabric were it to become reality, and a mixture of Bauhaus and futuristic aesthetics, reflecting the rigidness of such a reality as the one in Swastika Night.
