Pharaoh Papyrus rolling papers Packaging Design

IDEA:
I wanted to create a rolling paper company that captured the elegance that old rolling paper designs consisted. The old ways of design are almost gone when it comes to rolling tobacco paper packaging. Looking at some other companies today, one will see lots of bright colors and graphic images. My idea was to create a company that had class and kept to the old designs but in a modern way. This company would not be designed for young adults, like other companies do, but instead for mature, older adults. This product would be sold in cigar stores or in a high class section of a smoke shop. The name I chose is all Egyptian influenced. Many paper companies in the 1800's and 1900's used this theme as well and its aesthetic worked. The logo I created is influenced by hieroglyphics as well as the packaging.

BRAND STORY
Pharaoh Papyrus rolling papers are created in Egypt
where they are treated with care. As a person of
class you cannot settle for anything less than
perfection when it comes to smoking.
We think you deserve the best
and you know you
have earned
it too.
