Better than the real thing
The International Federation (IF) Forum takes place in Lausanne, Switzerland – set in the historic and recently renovated Royal Savoy Hotel. The IF Forum takes place annually and targets the specific needs of Olympic and Non-Olympic International Sport Federations.

It just so happens that FEI’s HQ is directly opposite to the Royal Savoy Hotel – the brief was to catch the eye of the members, participating speakers and event partners attending. Alongside this, IOC President Thomas Bach also visited the FEI HQ.
This gave me the perfect opportunity to do something which represented the elegance of the sport, attracts the attention and also raise a few eyebrows (mainly from the local government no doubt).

After a number of ideas were discussed, we decided to build a life-size white fiber-glass horse sculpture – in a jumping pose. It’s fair to say you truly get a sense of the size and power of the horse as it stands over 3m tall! To bring attention to the horse even further, we lit up the horse with various colours representing FEI and the Olympics.

This project certainly surpassed expectations – and one we are truly proud to be part of. As it happens, the horse will now be a permanent feature of the FEI HQ.
