DARNA X ERTE'
Jumped on the Bandwagon and Decided to Draw this 2 Beloved Characters in Philippine Pop Culture. Instead of Going the usual Comicbook/Superhero Route. I chose to approach it in a more Vintage and Stylized direction. I was very Much inspired by 1920's Art Deco and Art Nouveau. mostly the Illustration style of ERTE' Which is is very Graphic and detailed but against a Minimalist Background. I wanted it to be almost cinematic. straight out of an old Black and white film. which is appropriate since i was also inspired by the the Film " Zeigfield Girl"
