This one is my own version of TAR MAN character, from the movie The Return of the Living Dead, one of my childhood influences. Zombie #07 is part of the Zombie-Nation 100% vector illustrations series. I start from pencil sketch and later, in adobe Illustrator I clean up the lines, and finally place some color.
At first I only think about this one in black and white, but playing with some color stuff, the final art was full color.
Just only using mouse and penTool. Not tablet.
Here is where I clean the lines, define the big shadows.
