Pongid refers to members of the taxon Pongidae. They are sometimes called great apes. Over the last few years I've been studying for my Mathematics BSc and felt as though I had lost touch a little with my photography. I set myself a goal to take photographs of people or events at least once a month. This is collection of my favourite portraits of my closest great apes 2013.
