New York City is beautifully diverse with nationalities rich in a variety of cultures. All of these are ingredients that make New York City a melting pot. The city allows you to experience the world through food, no passport required. As a foodie I have gained appreciation of being able to sample various cultures through their food. To show my enthusiasm for diversity of cultural foods, I created The Melting Pot Magazine. The magazine allows readers to be interactive by tweeting in response to articles and participate in Food Battles. Illustrator was used to create icons, Photoshop was use to silhouette certain photographs, and InDesign was used to create the layout of the magazine.
