Art 102- Master's Interpretation

Color Theory- Final Project

For this project, I had to create a 2D work based on a color sample chosen at random. I immediately decided on preparing a drawing for the project, as it had not been a medium I had not utilized in the class much up to that point. I had a wide variety of ideas, but I soon narrowed it down to a couple of sketches I had done in which I was playing around with a warped perspective and Cubist-inspired portraiture. It took some time to figure out how to use these ideas in tandem and have a seamless unity within the picture. But once I had a final image figured out, the follow-through felt completely natural.
