INTRODUCTION
프란츠 카프카의 소설 ‘변신’이 영화로 제작되었을 때의 타이틀 시퀀스를 만들었다. 소설에 나오는 인물들을 뜻하는 각각의 인물 카드들이 한장씩 뒤집어진다.
마지막 비어있는 카드는 이 소설의 결말을 간접적으로 뜻한다. 사람의 모습에서 벌레로, 그리고 결국 사라지는 그레고리의 인생을 보여준다.
What if the novel ‘Metamorphosis’, written by Franz Kafka, was made into movie? This is how I started this project. Each character card which shows main characters in the novel is turned over one by one by one-take.The last empty card shows the ending of this novel indirectly. The life of Gregor as a human transformed into a insect and eventually disappeared.
