Scotland is the land of the rain and the mountains. The land of the whisky and of the castles. The land of Braveheart and The Highlanders. But Scotland is also the land where we discover that Itzi&Luismi had already meet. That they would keep together forever.
Maybe for this reason we prefer to call it Scotloveland.

Scotland es la tierra de la lluvia y las montañas. La tierrra del whisky y los castillos. la tierra de Braveheart y Los Inmortales. Pero Scotland también es la tierra donde descubrimos que Itzi&Luismi ya se habían encontrado. Que lo de aguantarse iba para largo. Y encantados.
Quizás por eso nosotros preferimos llamarla Scotloveland.
There are two kind of wedding invitations. Those that only care about the paper weight. And those that care about telling something remarkable about the couple. This one belongs to the second group.
Scotland was the place where they lived the most important years of their lifes. The place were they cried, had fun, got in love and the place where they got engaged, so, yes, for them this wedding invitation meant a lot.
These are the pieces of this project:
- 16 pages invitation book (A5 format) printed on one single ink in offset paper. This book's envelope contained 14 years old´s malt.
- Menu diptych (A6 format) with the most relevant sites in Scotland. From Carlton Hill to Princess Street going through Oban, a lovely small harbour in the middle of the Highlands. Every singe diptych told a little story of the place.
- We wanted for the guest´s gift to be special too and, we also wanted to close all this story that started with the wedding invitation so, we created the bottle'S packaging with a 14 old year's whisky. They have been a couple for 14 years already.
Hay dos tipos de invitaciones de boda. Las que se preocupan más por el gramaje del papel. Y las que se preocupan por contar algo que signifique algo para los novios. Ésta es de las segundas.
Escocia fue donde pasaron los años más importantes de su vida, donde lloraron, se divirtieron, se enamoraron y hasta donde se pidieron matrimonio así que sí, para ellos esta invitación significó mucho.
Las piezas realizadas han sido:
- Invitación librillo de 16 páginas en formato A5 impreso a un tinta en papel offset acompañado de un sobre de malta de 14 años.
- Dípticos del menú en formato A6 con las zonas de Escocia que más significado tenían para los novios. Desde Cartlon Hill hasta a Princess Street pasando, por ejemplo, por Oban, un precioso pueblo costero en medio de las Highlands. Cada díptico contaba una pequeña historia de cada zona.
- El detalle para los invitados también queríamos que fuera algo especial y, además, queríamos que cerrará la historia que empezó con la invitación. Por eso creamos un packaging sencillo de cristal, tapón dorado y serigrafía por la parte delantera con whisky escocés de 14 años, el mismo tiempo que estuvieron de novios.
