Everyone has a place to go when feeling delicate. Asylums are a series of rings made in response to my time in solitude, when intimacy and comfort comes from reimagining myself into miniature spaces. Furnished with model-making moss and figures, their fragility and anonymity emphasize tensions between the flights of fancy of escapism and the everyday world we actually belong to that produces them.
