This space was created for an IT-company at the 40th floor of Carnegie Center in Kyiv. The secret that lies behind the office of your dream is TED, standing for Technology, Exclusiveness and Design.
Exclusiveness
The location of this office is truly unique as it is based on the 40th floor of the highest office building in Ukraine. The city view from this height is breathtaking, so we decided to use it and to highlight the beauty of Dnieper hills, stadiums, residential areas and magnificent skyline behind the glass. The objective was to expand the visual space and to keep the whole workspace in daylight, so we inclined to use different forms of dividing glass walls – invisible but soundproof.

The U-Smart company prepared modern smart office solutions and the “Sky Floor” became a gadget and a working tool. Everything here is designed and functioning to increase your comfort and efficiency, saving both time and money. In fact, you are able to fully control your working environment - video, climate, lighting and music - just through a simple smartphone app. In addition, Aruba and Fortinet systems were chosen to provide network security.

Design
The reception part is an imitation of a cloud you may sit on. Behind the cloud, equipped with a floor heating system, there are two smooth curved podiums with impressive views of Kyiv. The last but not the least part of the project was the freedom we had to design and execute, which resulted in non-traditional and bold decisions.
