The Shubunkin Flow series is a offshoot of my Eddies study. Working with a continuously flowing water tank, I create a laminar flow entering the photo window. Within the window I introduce dye streams and intentionally create a disruption within the flow. In this case the fish create the disruptions. Much like an aqueous wind tunnel we get to see how water flows around the body of a swimming fish. The dyes and pigments are all fish safe and the actors are all living normal happy lives.
