Happy End® | Wedding Invitation

The inspiration for this wedding invitation came from the wedding location, the island of Cythera. The trip to Cythera became the communication means of the event, in the form of a package containing lozenges for the trip, titled'' Happy End®''.

It is an idea which combines complementary messages: the word '' happy’’ refers both to the happy occasion and the lozenges in the box (since the word ‘’happy’’ sounds the same as the word ‘’pill’’ in Greek). By urging the guests to use the lozenges for a pleasant trip to Cythera, the invitation enhances the wedding mood.

At the same time, the paper containing instructions of use according to the marital status of guests, which is included in the box, adds humor and completes the pharmaceutical packaging style of the invitation.

Η έμπνευση γι’ αυτήν την πρόσκληση γάμου προήλθε από τον τόπο τέλεσης του μυστηρίου, το νησί των Κυθήρων. Το ταξίδι προς στα Κύθηρα έγινε το όχημα επικοινωνίας του γεγονότος, με τη μορφή συσκευασίας που περιέχει παστίλιες για το ταξίδι των καλεσμένων, με τον τίτλο ‘’Happy End®’’.

Πρόκειται για μια ιδέα η οποία συνδυάζει αλληλοσυμπληρούμενα μηνύματα: το ‘’Happy’’ παραπέμπει ηχητικά στο ‘’χάπι’’, τις παστίλιες δηλαδή που περιέχει το κουτί, ενώ αναφέρεται ταυτόχρονα στο ‘’ευτυχές γεγονός’’.

Η σαφής προτροπή των καλεσμένων να χρησιμοποιήσουν τις παστίλιες για να περάσουν ευχάριστα στη διαδρομή για τα Κύθηρα, ενισχύει την γαμήλια διάθεση, ενώ το χαρτί με τις οδηγίες χρήσης ανάλογα με την οικογενειακή κατάσταση των καλεσμένων, που εμπεριέχεται στο κουτί, προσθέτει χιούμορ και ολοκληρώνει την φαρμακευτική συσκευασία της πρόσκλησης.
