Typedesign – Haven
A school project
Haven is a typeface developed during a two-week long typedesign-workshop by Veronika Burian from Type Together in the spring 2013. Haven is a modern didone typeface, with strong contrast between thick and thin strokes, curved strokes on a vertical axis and an interplay of right angles and flowing lines. Haven is based on the architecure of typefaces such as bodoni and didot. It’s designed to be used as a headline typeface.
