CELEBNATION (in development)
Celebnation is an interactive cross-media project which gives space to share celebrations of different religions and nations. Our goal is to create a trans-cultural communication platform that increases the tolerance between different nations living together. Our project consists of 4 main platforms : web, mobile, school and TV. On the web platform users can search for celebrations of the world by place, date, mood and taste. They can upload and share texts, photos or videos on their own celebrations. The Celebnation crew creates photo animation clips from the best uploaded photos and edited videos of the social video stock. Users can use the social photo stock, to mix their favorite celebrations and create a fictional one. In the framework of the 30 day long school program, we involve two elementary school classes to take part in the Celebnation experience and celebrate every day for a whole month. The project includes 30x1 min. animation and 365 celebrations in the online database.
