The Snowy Donut sleigh is a project from the manufacturing and design course at the TU Delft. Together with three other students we designed a sleigh using thermoforming as a production technique. Together with the company Polymess B.V. we made sure the production of the sleigh is feasible and safe. 

As can be seen in the picture above the sleigh contains of 5 main parts. Part 1 is the lid that closes the container in the sleigh and is functional as a seat. In the container things can be stored, for example winter clothes such as gloves, while sleighing. Part 2 and 3 are made from ABS and are connected with a metal H-profile, pictured as number 4. The round sliding part (number 5) enables the sleigh to turn 360 degrees while sleighing. This makes the sleigh different from ordinary sleighs and therefore creating a new use experience.
