AfrikaBurn is the spectacular result of the creative expression of participants who gather once a year in the Tankwa Karoo to create a temporary city of art, theme camps, costume, music and performance! For those who have been no explanation is necessary, for those who haven't none is possible.
This is my first burn and I can say that I will be back every year for the remainder of my life. I was careful not to live the entire experience from behind my lens and only spent a small time with my camera. This first series is in black and white but I also have a second colour series here with some different shots.
I love Cape Town, I love South Africa. <3
