Editing everyday dark items - including removal of two black & white area rugs - was key to creating this winter white wonderland for a Florida townhome. To work within a budget - basically using what is already on hand - I pulled together creamy white textiles, mixed textures of shimmer and shine, and utilized existing decor items paired with a dozen Dollar Store ornaments. To add a little modern-organic flare, I utilized a few branches I gathered - from a tree trimmings pile - to decorate behind the sofa, on the TV unit and as a centerpiece on the dining room table. Although the dining space is seperate from the living space, these common areas have a cohesive feel to them from using the same color palette and similar style decor items.
