The brief was to create an Identity and publicity material for a ‘Circus’ museum. The outcome was an identity spreading across tickets, a A1 poster, letterhead, and a limited edition book.
My approach tries to express this contemporary aspect of the circus by using a modernistic grid-structured typographic aesthetic; however the ‘clean’ aesthetics of the ‘Monotype Grotesque’ typeface, and the traditional feel of the red woodcut letter forms, result in a blend of the past and the contemporary times of circus glory.
