Artist Statement:

        The "Tribalism" prints were made because I was inspired by Islamic patterns, and the many shapes that were utilized within them.  Creating this series I decided to discard the screen all together, and began stenciling in different shapes by  adhering painters tape to mask various sections of each piece.  These prints underwent successive layers of adding and subtracting the tape, as I incorporated each new coat of various colored inks to each work.
