For this brief I was asked to create type for Wynyard Quarter in Auckland's harbour. It had to represent the place. So I went for visits there and took in my surroundings and took them home. I noticed that all around there were these tracks which didnt look usable or at least had not been in use for a very long time. They were rusted and worn and breaking up. These tracks felt like a big part of the area and the place being very industrial I went for a rough texture for the logo. The actual type is influenced by the
