Background used in presentation day
I did this project after the lsat Egypt revolution that happened in 2011.
As we all know political topics are not that easy to understand but with something very important as this revolution there has to be a way to attract everyone to this topic, that's when i thought of pop up book as a solution.
"The power of change" was the name given to this project, at that time everyone was really excited about this achievement because at some points it was impossible to be!
My target audience were teenagers, so the style of illustration and the type of language I used were chosen to suit their age.
I designed the book in a way to tell a story through a timeline based on the most important events that happened. The story didn't really end so my last page of the book had dots refers to "to be continued" .
All illustrations were created using ink and pastel colors*
Book cover - I chose "Khaled Saeed" as my cover image, because he was the one who started this revolution
