Project of a young man's bedroom

This apartment is located in the modern residences in an old district of Moscow.
In the interior I wanted to depict this synthesis of an old environment and new architecture of the building. It is achieved by decorative elements: rosette on the ceiling, skirting boards, cornices and moldings matching the color of the walls. The palette of walls, picked up in a few dense colors with a strong identity and semi-matte texture. An asymmetric painting of classic walls emphasizes the idea of combining old and new. That serves as a great backdrop for the shapes of contemporary furniture: bed Kelly by Poliform, bedside tables from Maronese. Calder Bronze console by Minotti perfectly works with one of my favorite pieces from Catellan Italia - bookshelf Hudson. A little bit of softness is added by textiles: rug Serge Lesage Plain & Relief Effets Harlem, restrained but saturated bedspreads, translucent sheer and metallic curtains. Herringbone parquet conveys an aesthetic of classic interiors with subtle wood tones. Small details are added by the hardware of polished brass.
It turned out to be a strict and at the same time cozy interior, reflecting the character of my customer. I performed it with a great pleasure.
