On February 1, 2020, The Honda Classic will hold The Honda Classic 5K Walk/Run. The event will be held at the PGA National Resort and Spa Champion Golf Course grounds, where participants get to experience the picturesque home of The Honda Classic.

The event is open to both adults (aged 16 years and up) and youth (aged 15 and under). Registration fees range from $30 to $45 for adults, and from $15 to $25 for youth. The fee includes light refreshments, prizes, and a race shirt.

The 5K walk/run will benefit the Place of Hope, a non-profit children’s organization that promotes the dignity of children and their families. In particular, the proceeds of the event will go to the human trafficking prevention, education, and recovery program at Place of Hope.

Place of Hope has distributed over 4,000 items with the National Human Trafficking Hotline label to at-risk populations. It has also tipped authorities with 10 missing child reports, and delivered more than 80 training presentations that have reached 2,000 people in need.
