Photos can be taken from your saved photo library
The user can adjust the number of colors from the image to control how many colors they want
Users can compare one photo with another and filter those with the most relevant color scheme
Photos can then be matched together and display their relevant color schemes together
One can upload their color palettes online and also view other peoples palettes to either save or match with their own.
An idea for an IPad app, specifically built for artists that can extract/adjust the color scheme from a photo taken from the IPad camera or a photo found in the IPad photo library. The app also allows the user to compare their photo or color scheme with other photos and also share their color schemes online.
