My fascination with the sub conscious realities that we conjurer up each night was a huge inspiration to this project. My dream worlds have always been vivid and unexplainable to anyone. I could never show in any way just where or what I had seen while sleeping, yet I wanted to show the world I had created while sleeping in some way.

I tried to surrealism for help. What I wanted to achieve here was to create images that become disorientating to view, yet were made of places or things that were familiar to the viewer. After looking into the world of the lucid dream I become more interested in distorting these images to become beautiful yet unsettling. Creating the world of the uncanny.
