A LED lamp sits underneath a concave glass lens, fly's are naturally attracted to the light in dark areas. The lens also acts as a bowl, you can add wine, honey, Jam that also attracts them, this also creates a lighting effect...
This little fella is happy, buildign away...
Ideally the light would project a shadow of the web and spider onto the roof, however, in reality it didn't work as shown here.
