Photo Retouching Before and After

Kitchen Before: Stylists strive for zero impact on a home owner's space. No walls were harmed during this shoot. Products were mounted to boards and retouching/ color correction followed.
Kitchen After: The lived in look of the counter top was retained but the prop mounting boards were blended into the wall and the yellow cast was removed.
Living Room Before: This exposure captured space well but many exposures were required to best capture the models. Each model was layered in separately. Extensive retouching was required to remove the distracting baseboard heaters in the final shot. Not to mention carpet stains.
Living Room After: Two cheery models added from different exposures and no more pesky baseboard heaters.
Charming home for a catalog cover shot.
The final catalog cover shot combines a great exposure of the sky shot on the day previous. Shooting with a tripod affords the opportunity to stand-in a wall sconce light fixture fastened to a board and held by a human. No holes drilled in the wall nor any additional wiring required and you don't need to see the human who is holding the fixture in place;-) A strobe was used to better capture the liveliness of the interior through the windows and the shots were layered together. Colors were enhanced and shrubbery was trimmed.
Book Nook Before: This shot required the removal of an existing light fixture and the addition of a new one. General color corrections made to remove the orange/red cast from the clock and print hanging on the wall.
Book Nook After: Fresh new light fixture
Bathroom Before: This space required a new mirror and light fixture to freshen up the space. Also it required extensive editing to cover up water spots and oxidation as shown by the ghost of the previous rectangular mirror.
