Redesign project for a manufacturer of high quality leather equipment such as saddles and harnesses for horses. The inicial logo was not transmitting the professionality and expertise of their service, products and processes. What we did was to research back into antique leather stamps that were used to prove the authenticity of the material and the seal of the craftsman. We utilized this inspiration for the typographic work and also created a monogram with the initials “SS” inspired by traditional horse branding irons.

Proyecto de rediseño de identidad para una empresa fabricante de equipo y productos de piel para caballería. El logotipo anterior fallaba en comunicar la alta calidad, experiencia y profesionalismo de Solis Saddlery. Lo que hicimos fue realizar un trabajo de investigación acerca de las antigüos sellos artesanales en productos de piel, que se utilizaban para comprobar la autenticidad de los materiales y distinguir al fabricante. Nos basamos en esto para el tratamiento tipográfico realizado; además se creó un monográma con las iniciales “SS” inspirado en las tradicionales marcas de hierro para caballos.
