Taiwan Blue magpie is a kind of lively bird.
(also called the Taiwan Magpie or Formosan Blue Magpie or the "long-tailed mountain lady".)
Taiwan Blue Magpie is the National Birds of Taiwan. It is an endemic species of Taiwan.
I'm Taiwanese and Taiwan Blue Magpie inspired me because they have a strong nest defense behaviour.

The birds will take care of new born chicks with their relatives as a extended family just like Taiwanese people.
They have six pairs of beautiful long tail feathers.
And the blue feathers of there body is so stunning, so pretty.
I painted all this by arcylic color.

台灣藍鵲是種性情活潑的鳥類，也有人叫他們長尾山娘～
他們是台灣的國鳥，而且是台灣特有種！
他們有六對長長的尾羽，有明顯的白紋。
而牠們身上的靛藍色羽毛也是美得令人讚嘆。
整幅畫使用壓克力顏料完成。

左下角圖騰原先是想用台灣原住民的特有花紋作發想，
後來直接讓右手自行發揮。
裡面還藏了一個台灣"心"，有看見嗎?
